Our Standards

All of Crystal's building work complies with current building regulations and standards.

British Stanards Kitemark The PVCu fabrication is to the BS 7413, BS 7412, and BS 476 part 7 specification. All glass and glazing is to BS 6206 and 6262 safety guidelines where necessary.


We're also members of the following organisations so you can be assured you'll be receiving a quality service and products to high standards.

IPWFI IPWEF
We are members of the IPWEF who's aim is to protect the householder when purchasing home improvements. They offer both Deposit Protection and Insurance Backed Guarantees to the Home Improvement Industry. As a member, we have been through a vetting procedure which includes obtaining references from our suppliers and past customers as well, as the financial stability of the company and its owners/directors. IPWFI also carry out ongoing checks through our guarantee certificate which the consumer signs to confirm that each installation has been carried out to a satisfactory standard.

FENSA
The Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme has been set up by the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF), with Government approval, in response to the new Building Regulations for England and Wales which mean that anyone who installs replacement windows or doors will have to comply with improved thermal performance standards. We comply with these standards and are members of FENSA.


The Manufacture Process: All uPVC fabrication is to the BS 7413 specification.
