Composite Doors: In Depth
1. All composite doors are glazed with 4mm toughened glass as standard to meet BS6262 in relation to human impact.
2. The unique glazing system secures a toughened or laminated double glazed unit in place without the need for adhesive tapes or messy silicones.
3. At the heart of every door is a high density expanded polystyrene core filling all internal cavities.
4. A high quality laminated timber subframe is constructed to suit the individual slab size. The material is strong and has simensional stability.
5. The doors are faced with high impact thermoplastic skins so you need never worry about painting or staining.
6. Adding the unique 'Edge Guard' option enhances the appearance of the door slab and adds extra protection against damage.
